/ob createor click CREATE MY ISLAND in the /ob menu.
A cinematic plays: the camera orbits while blocks assemble in the void, then you are dropped onto your brand-new island with a WELCOME! title. The whole thing takes a few seconds — just watch.
Build a platform around the central block right away. Anything that drops while you mine will otherwise fall straight into the void. The server reminds you of this the first time it matters.
You can only own one island at a time.
/ob joinYou are teleported to wherever you last stood on your island. If that spot is no longer valid, you land on your island's spawn point instead.
If you don't have an island yet, /ob join creates one for you.
If you fall off the edge, you are not killed — you are teleported back to your island's spawn point with a warning message.
Every island sits inside its own invisible border, and you cannot walk out of it. Standing too close shows the usual red warning on your screen, and pushing past it slowly damages you.
The border grows with the Island Size upgrade — see Island Upgrades.
Stand where you want people to arrive, then run the command. This is the point used when you or a member types /ob join, and when someone is teleported back after falling into the void.
Only the owner — or a member whose role has the coop permission — can change it, and you have to be standing on your own island.
Break the central block, and a new one appears in its place. What appears depends on your current phase.
Three things can happen when you break it:

A zombie, skeleton, spider, creeper or witch appears on the block

Wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot or a flower grows on top
Bonus chests are announced in chat with BONUS » A bonus chest appeared! Their contents get better every phase, so the deeper you go, the more worthwhile they are.
When you break a chest or barrel on your island, its contents go straight into your inventory instead of scattering on the ground — no items lost to the void.
Click Back to Lobby in the /ob menu to return to the HUB. Your island stays exactly as you left it.
A confirmation menu opens. You have to confirm explicitly — a single misclick won't do it.
Deleting your island is permanent. The island is wiped, and your inventory is cleared as part of the reset. There is no undo and no backup you can ask for.
The same applies if you leave a co-op you were a member of: your inventory is reset when you go.
