Island Upgrades

Spend your money to make your island bigger, busier and more crowded.

/ob upgrade

Four upgrades, each bought one level at a time with in-game money. Every level of an upgrade costs the same fixed price β€” there is no escalating cost, just a lot of levels.

What each one actually does

🟒 Island Size

Grows your island border, measured in blocks from the centre outward. Going from 10 to 250 turns a cramped starting platform into a genuinely large build area. At 500 000 $ per level, this is by far the cheapest upgrade and usually the first one worth buying.

🟑 Hopper Limit

Caps how many hoppers can exist on your island at once. Try to place one past the cap and you get:

Limit Β» Your island has reached its hopper limit (5). Upgrade it with /ob upgrade.

If you're building any kind of sorting or auto-collection system, this is the upgrade that unblocks you.

πŸ”΄ Spawner Limit

Same idea for spawners. The starting allowance of 5 000 is already generous, which is why the upgrade is the most expensive on the list β€” it's meant for very late-game farms.

πŸ”΅ Coop Members

Raises how many people can be on your island alongside you, from 5 up to 12. This is the only thing that changes your co-op capacity β€” see Co-op & Roles.

Who can buy upgrades

The island owner, or a member whose role grants the right permission. If you're a member without it:

Upgrade Β» Only the island owner (or an authorised member) can buy upgrades.

If the economy is temporarily unavailable, the menu tells you so and nothing is charged β€” just try again in a moment.
