Co-op & Roles

Play with friends, and decide exactly what they're allowed to do.

Inviting someone

/ob invite

opens a menu listing every online player who is eligible — anyone without an island of their own. Click their head to invite them.

If you already know the name:

/ob invite <player>

The invited player gets:

Invitation » YourName invited you to their island. Type /ob accept to join.

Invitations expire after 1 minute. Both of you are told when one runs out. Just send another if they missed it.

You cannot invite yourself, someone who already has an island or is already in a co-op, or someone who already has a pending invite from you.

Accepting

/ob accept

You join the island, get a WELCOME! title, and from then on you share the island's progress, its phase and its MultiTool tier.

Managing the co-op

/ob members

The co-op menu lists every member as their own head. From here you can:

Button	What it does
📗 Invite a Player	Opens the invite menu
🏷️ Manage Roles	Opens the role editor
🛏️ Leave Coop	Leaves this island — clears your inventory
➡️ Back	Returns to the main menu

Right-click a member's head to kick them. You can also use:

/ob kick <player>

The island owner cannot be kicked.

Leaving a co-op

/ob leave

A confirmation menu opens first.

Leaving a co-op resets your inventory. Hand over anything you want to keep before you go — there is no way to recover it afterwards.

How many members can I have?

Your capacity comes from the Coop Members upgrade: 5 by default, up to 12 fully upgraded. See Island Upgrades.

When you're full:

Error » Your co-op is full. Upgrade it with /ob upgrade or raise your rank.

Roles

Every member holds a role, and the role decides what they may do. Four roles exist on every island from the start:

New members start as member.

The six permissions

Permission	Allows the member to...
break	Break blocks on the island
place	Place blocks on the island
interact	Open chests, doors, and use blocks
pvp	Fight other players on the island
settings	Change the island settings and buy upgrades
coop	Invite, kick, set the island spawn, and manage roles

Role commands

Only the owner, or a member with the coop permission, can use these.

/ob role delete <name>	Deletes a custom role
/ob role addperm <role> <permission>	Grants a permission to a role
/ob role removeperm <role> <permission>	Removes a permission from a role
/ob role set <player> <role>	Assigns a role to a member

The four built-in roles (owner, member, builder, visitor) cannot be deleted or renamed. Create your own role instead if you need a different mix of permissions.
